Hello friends and family,
As most of you are aware, nearly three years ago I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (PNETs). After a long journey with treatment my medical team at University Of Chicago informed me that I was now eligible for a liver transplant, specifically a living donor liver transplant. My hope is that with more people reading this that someone will find it in their heart to provide the gift of life with a living liver donation. I ask that you look into your own heart and also help me spread the word to as many people as we can.
I have written a detailed post that explains my story and lays out the donor screening process and how someone can volunteer to start the screening process.. The direct link to the post is www.holisticbliss.co/bridgetsieverslivertransplant Please feel free to email all your contacts and share this link.
If you would like to help spread the word, please see below details and links on how you can share through social media.
Email - write a message to your contacts and copy and paste the post link www.holisticbliss.co/bridgetsieverslivertransplant into the email. Social Media - Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter - Create a post and make sure to include the link in the post. Instagram is a bit harder to share. You could put the link in your profile. Below are direct share links you can use. When sharing on Facebook make sure the post privacy is Public otherwise only a limited audience will see it. You can change the post privacy setting by clicking on the arrow next to Friends (on the bottom right of the post) and selecting Public. See below screenshot.
Below are direct share links to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter that you can use in your email. When posting on Facebook, please specify in the post to copy and paste the link www.holisticbliss.co/bridgetsieverslivertransplant Please also share in any private Facebook groups you may be part of.
QR Code - this would be ideal if you are talking to a friend and the transplant comes up in conversation. You save the attached image of the QR Code on your phone. Have your friend open their phone and open the camera app. Have your friend point the camera at the QR Code (you don't actually have to snap the picture). As soon as the camera sees the QR Code, a notification will pop up. Click on the notification and it will open the transplant post. It sounds complicated, but it is very simple. It's the same as the restaurant menus nowadays.
Thank you so much for your help and support. Please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions. My cell # is 773-742-0026.
Much love!
Bridget Sievers
